Midwest Sports Services is a premier provider of sporting event management services for timed events throughout the Midwest region.

Owners John Obermeyer, a former Michigan state champion speedskater and competitive cyclist, and his wife Diane Obermeyer, a former U.S. National cycling record-holder, started the company in 1986 after participating in an event that 'went bad' due to poor communication between officials and participants. Together they have over 60 years combined experience in sporting event participation and management.
